How the quiz maps answers to types
Each answer nudges the score for the types whose in-game behavior matches it. Say you pick "find the one who is hurting first" when two friends fight: that is exactly what Sweetie and Buddy types actually do on the island, so they gain ground. Pick "first through the door, sword up" for the dungeon question and you are describing Dynamo and Maverick behavior from their Tomodachi Quest roles. The winner at the end is the type whose day-to-day behavior lines up best with how you said you play.

Is this the same as the in-game personality quiz?
No. The game never quizzes you directly; it asks for four slider values and derives the type from them. This quiz works backward from how you like to play, then hands you the slider values that produce the matching type, so you can go make the Mii for real.
Can I retake it for different Miis?
Yes, take it once per Mii you are planning. Answer as the character you have in mind rather than as yourself if you are building someone specific, and the result tracks that voice instead.
Does the result change anything mechanically?
The type it suggests is a real type with real behavior differences: idle animations, speech style, quest role, and compatibility lean. What no type changes is access to content, so treat the result as a flavor pick, not an optimization.
